Once send in, your recommendation will be reviewed by the Dispatch Office. After the initial validation by the Squadron Clerk, the recommendation is moved up the chain to the Battalion Clerk. The Battalion Clerk conducts interviews and does a first review. After the review, the Battalion Clerk forms his advise. The recommendation, with the interview results and the battalion clerk advise, is presented to the 151-Battalion HQ. Which will then be either approved, upgraded, downgraded or rejected.

When approved, the recommendee will receive a Mention in Dispatches and the medal will be added to his service record.
