DISCRIPTION

The Major is currently the highest attainable rank in the unit. The rank is reserved for the unit's founder, S. Bertrand.

In it's current use, the rank of Major is honourary rank. Thus holding little to no executive power nor any command. The Major mainly acts as the figurehead of the unit, and offers his advise to the active commanders. The Major is typically still involved in financial matters, and advises on the most impactful decisions. The Major is not listed on the Order of Battle, due to the honourary nature of the rank.

Members can currently not be promoted to the rank of Major. Should it be required, a member can only be promoted to the rank of Major if the rank of Lieutenant Colonel is activated. In which case the honourary role would switch to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and the rank of Major would become the highest command rank.
